The build is back on! After finally clearing out a workspace in the Hayward hangar after the move, I was able to start on the fuselage kit that was received in late August.

A relatively small section in the plans, and the main bulkhead has a good degree of completion straight from the factory! Plus there is a lot of match drilling of one of the parts that is no longer necessary as the factory work there is also more complete.

So this step required a lot of countersinking of some holes and the usual deburring and priming of parts, then riveting.

Excited to start the fuselage and see how this major kit takes shape.

Fun fact: the interior cabin width of the RV-12 is going to be very similar to my vintage VW Beetle.
