Getting close to completing the tailcone. This weekend was spent preparing the upper side skins and the top skin of the tailcone. Then riveting. Lots and lots of riveting.
The tailcone skins are fully riveted except for the top skin. I may hold off on that until I’m sure I won’t have to access the inside of the tailcone for any other installations. One possibility I’m aware of now is an antenna cable for a nav/com antenna that sits at the top of the vertical stabilizer.
I did a temporary placement of the vertical stabilizer on the tailcone just to see what it will looks like. Starting to look like a plane!
