Continuing work on the tailcone. Staring with prepping and priming the lower skins. Then attaching them to the still-upside-down tailcone and riveting to the bottom skins.
A lot of work getting the rear bulkhead finished. A large variety of rivets on that piece. Finished off with clecoing in it’s spot at the back of the tailcone.
Then it was time to run some lines for the stabilator controls, a cable for the trim servo, and installing a pair of static air ports and air hoses. I secured the “tee” junction with zip ties to make sure it doesn’t rub against the rivets. I’ll also add some protection so the large hose doesn’t chafe on the fuselage frame flange. It’s not touching (it’s aimed away) but I’d like something soft there anyway.
